People born in the 1980 s are collectively referred to as the "post-80s".It is worth paying attention to and studying whether they can play a good role as parents and have a good family education for their children.Will the "post-80s" be more competent than the parents of the previous generation in the role of father and mother?What are the distinctive characteristics of the education methods of the "post-80s" parents? This is the focus of my thesis.This paper takes the family of the "post-80s" parents in Yueyang City,Hunan Province as a sample to conduct in-depth research and discussion.By means of questionnaire survey,case interview and observation,it studies the family structure,education level,income,education style,education content,education concept and family atmosphere of the "post-80s" families in Yueyang City,Hunan Province,and takes pedagogy,psychology and sociology as examples Based on the relevant theoretical research,this paper analyzes and reveals the current situation of the family education of the "post-80s" parents in Yueyang City,Hunan Province.Parents of the "post-80s" generation have a higher education level and their family income has improved.The education mode is characterized by democracy,equality,openness and harmony.They pay more attention to communication with their children,parent-child relationship and early education.They are good at using the Internet and various information technologies and other media to solve problems.At the same time,the problems of the "post-80s" parents in family education also exist.The alternate-generation education;excessive attention to children,high expectations,high requirements,and some of the "post-80s" parents due to their own lack of maturity,lack of family education experience,in the role of parents literacy needs to be improved.One of the reasons for the above problems in the family education of the "post-80s" parents is that some of the "post-80s" parents neglect their parents’ role consciousness due to the great social pressure;the other is that the social factors affect their values,which leads to the utilitarian education of some of the "post-80s" parents;the third is that many of the "post-80s" parents are only children themselves due to the influence of family planning policies Women,who grew up in over protection,lack family education experience.Based on the analysis of the problems and causes of the family education of the "post-80s" parents,this paper puts forward some effective solutions and suggestionsto solve the problems of the "post-80s" parents’ family education: to correctly understand and utilize the education of the next generation,the two generations should unify the education concept,form a joint force,encourage the elders to learn more about the knowledge of parenting,reasonably divide the work,and form complementary advantages;Change the educational concept,to follow the law of children’s physical and mental development and change the unitary education Education is to guide the comprehensive quality,stops doting,fully realize the foundation of family education,improve the education quality,and set an example consciousness;to create a harmonious family atmosphere,and build a harmonious relationship between husband and wife,elders,and children,so that children can grow up in a loving environment.
