The course of Ideological and political theory is the main channel of Ideological and political education for college students.In order to give full play to the function of the main channel of educating people and fulfill the basic task of cultivating people through morality,it is necessary to continuously enhance the attraction and effectiveness of teaching and build it into a course that students like.With the promotion of teaching reform and the guidance of relevant documents,the teaching effect of Ideological and political theory course has been significantly improved compared with the past,but the low enthusiasm of students is always the barrier that needs to be broken through in teaching.Therefore,in order to improve the teaching quality of Ideological and political theory course,we must focus on improving students’ learning motivation,adopt effective teaching strategies to stimulate and maintain students’ learning motivation,and make students’ learning state change from passive acceptance to active exploration,so as to effectively improve the effectiveness of teaching.According to the ARCS Motivation theory put forward by Professor Keller,an American psychologist,the influencing factors of learning motivation are classified into four categories: attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction,and the corresponding motivation strategies are put forward around the four elements,which become a systematic theory that organically combines the motivation principle with the teaching design process.In order to wake up the students’ learning motivation of the ideological and political theory course,this study attempts to design the motivation strategy applicable to the ideological and political theory course teaching with reference to the ARCS Motivation Model,and integrate the motivation design elements into the teaching design,in order to improve the teaching effect of the ideological and political theory course.First of all,the author makes clear the important influence of learning motivation on teaching effect,and the important significance of studying motivation incentive strategy on improving teaching.Through literature research,the author combs the research status of the ARCS Motivation Model at home and abroad,and summarizes the specific implementation steps of the ARCS Motivation Model.Then,through the analysis of the feasibility of applying the ARCS Motivation Model to the teaching of Ideological and political theory and the analysis of the problems and causes of the effectiveness of the current ideological and political theory teaching in Colleges and universities,this paper puts forward four incentive strategies for the learning motivation of the ideological and Political Theory Course around the four elements of the ARCS Motivation Model,namely,attention,relevance,self-confidence and satisfaction,and based on this,designs and implements "thinking" Think about the teaching cases of "moral cultivation and legal basis".Finally,through the evaluation of the effect of teaching experiments,it is proved that integrating the motivational strategies designed based on the arcs motivational model into the teaching design of Ideological and political theory course can enhance students’ learning motivation and improve the teaching effect,and provide reference examples for front-line teachers to improve teaching.However,there are still some deficiencies in the details of this study,such as the number of research samples is too small,the use of motivational strategies is not comprehensive and flexible enough,which needs to be further explored in the future. |
