| As a comprehensive and activity-based subject course,the Ideological and political course in senior high school is not only to impart knowledge,but also to pay attention to the education of three outlooks,which is the key course to implement the basic task of cultivating people by virtue.Learning motivation is the key factor of students’ learning,which affects the effect of students’ learning ideological and political courses.However,according to the survey,the current high school students’ learning motivation for the ideological and political course has some problems,such as lack of self-confidence and satisfaction,which affect their learning result for the ideological and political course.This study is based on the ARCS Motivation Model proposed by Keller,an American psychology professor,to carry out the teaching strategy selection and practice in the high school ideological and political classroom.ARCS motivation model is composed of four dimensions: attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction.Its application process is definition,design,implementation and evaluation,which is the inheritance and development of various motivation theories.Through the data obtained from the questionnaire survey,it is found that senior high school students have learning motivation problems in the process of Ideological and political course learning,such as the lack of strong class learning atmosphere,the lack of learning objectives,and the difficulty in predicting performance.The causes of the problems are objective and subjective factors.On the basis of Ideological and political teaching and related theories,this study puts forward teaching strategies of Ideological and political course from four dimensions of attention,relevance,confidence and satisfaction.First of all,it analyzes students’ learning motivation level as a whole and draws corresponding motivation curve.In terms of attention strategies,it is necessary to keep the novelty of teaching content,carry out inquiry to promote learning and use a variety of teaching methods;in terms of relevant strategies,it is necessary to help students establish correct learning attitude,pay attention to the relationship between learning content and students,and carry out group cooperative learning;in terms of confidence strategies,it is necessary to establish challenging teaching objectives to provide performance opportunities for students and guide students to correctly attribute;in terms of satisfaction strategies,it is necessary to use external rewards reasonably,and evaluate in a timely,fair and multiple way to enable students to apply what they have learned.Finally,this study analyzes the teaching strategies of ARCS Motivation Model in a class through a case study. |
