Study On The Intervention Of Applied Behavior Analysis Treatment In Social Intercourse Disorder Of Autistic Teenager

Autism is a widespread developmental disorder.Due to the fact that autism can’t be completely cured,the three core symptoms of autism,namely,social intercourse disorders,communication disorders,narrow interests and repetitive behaviors,are associated with autism throughout the life of the individual.In recent years,because of the development of times and civilization,the whole society pay more attention to autism group.However,when it comes to the allocation of resource,autistic children get more benefits on the whole.Autism sufferers can’t be cared for all their lives because of limited resources,that is why they urgently need to learn how to take care of themselves.But they are facing the dilemma that they cannot achieve self-care because of social intercourse disorder.Based on this objective reality,the author selected four autistic teenagers in Wuhan M organization.And under the guidance of Applied Behavior Analysis(ABA)treatment,the author intervene the social intercourse disorder of these four autistic teenagers by the use of group work method.From the promotion of interpersonal perception,the promotion of interpersonal involvement,and the promotion of interpersonal communication tendency these three aspects to proceed group activities in three steps,which can help clients to develop cognition of interpersonal intercourse common sense,improve communication ability in daily lives by the training of language and behavior so that can achieve generally self-care.As a mature intervention for autism,ABA is often used in individualized treatment.However,this study combines group work and ABA treatment,by the principle of considering integration and individual together,correct clients’ mistaken behaviors and help them to get the right way.Therefore,the study in this paper is an attempt to apply ABA treatment in group work,as well as an exploration to combine professional autism intervention methods with the work methods of social workers.At the end,under the guidance of ABA treatment,the group service has achieved some results,which indicates the effect of ABA combined with group work practice to intervene the social disorder of autistic teenagers.However,at the same time,the author also found that social worker lacked professional knowledge to intervene in the rehabilitation training of autistic patients as a primary intervener;Under the guidance of ABA,the use of group work method also has the problem of insufficient continuity.In addition,when ABA therapy is used in group work on a wider scale,the appropriate age of group members should be further discussed and considered.
