Taking the platform of "China university mooc" as an example,the self-designed survey scale was adopted in this study to investigate the self-efficacy of undergraduates in guangzhou university who participated in the online learning of swimming courses.The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situation of self-efficacy in online learning of college swimming courses,to grasp the demographic differences of students’ self-efficacy in online learning,and to provide useful Suggestions for improving the online teaching effect of swimming courses and enhancing the initiative and enthusiasm of students in online learning.The results show that:(1)The self-efficacy scale for online learning of College Students’ Swimming courses contains four dimensions: the sense of effort、the sense of control、 the sense of pleasure and the sense of improvement;Model fitting indexes X2/ DF =2.286,RMSEA=0.066,GFI=0.854,PGFI=0.707,TLI=0.927,CFI=0.935 meet the requirements of measurement.The cumulative variance contribution rate of factor analysis was 68.538%,and coefficient A reliability of each dimension of the scale was between 0.898 and 0.931.Therefore,the scale design has good reliability and validity,and the fitting degree index has reached a good level,which can be used as an effective tool to measure college students’ selfefficacy in online learning of swimming courses.(2)the overall self-efficacy of the online learning of swimming courses of college students was at an average level(M=92.6973),in which the sense of effort was 18.7585,the sense of control was 18.5850,the sense of pleasure was 22.2347 and the sense of improvement was 33.1190.(3)college students’ selfefficacy in online learning of swimming courses has significant differences in gender,major and physical test scores(P<0.05),among which,male students were better than female students,and students majoring in physical education were better than students majoring in non-physical education.moderate success > excellent grade > good grades> Pass the result student;There was no significant difference in the efficacy of online learning of swimming courses among college students in terms of family background and entry grade(P>0.05).Based on the above research results,four Suggestions are proposed:(1)in the online swimming course for non-physical education majors,the explanation should be simplified to avoid the obscurity of proprietary terms;(2)considering the gender difference in online learning self-efficacy,and paying attention to the effective improvement of girls’ online learning self-efficacy;(3)pay attention to the individual differences of students and teach students according to their aptitude;(4)pay attention to the scientific setting of students’ online skill learning objectives and urge them to complete them on time.
