The new mathematics curriculum standard in 2011 puts forward that in life,students should use mathematical vision to catch mathematical problems,and actively use mathematical knowledge to analyze various phenomena in life,so as to achieve the purpose of solving life problems.With the development of education curriculum reform,the "life-oriented mathematics teaching" has become an inevitable choice for teachers in teaching,and is the main way to cultivate students’ innovative ability.Under the background of the new curriculum standard,this paper studies the problem of life-oriented mathematics teaching in primary schools.This paper mainly adopts the methods of literature research and questionnaire survey,and takes three elementary schools in Kunshan City as the object of investigation.The questionnaire is distributed to 46 mathematics teachers in three schools.Through the analysis and investigation,it is found that there are three elementary schools where the life-oriented teaching of mathematics in primary schools is not valued and primary mathematics teachers activate the teaching of students.There are misunderstandings,inappropriate ways and methods of life-oriented mathematics teaching in primary schools,dull content of life-oriented mathematics teaching in primary schools,and lack of evaluation of life-oriented mathematics teaching in primary schools.For the problems found in the survey,this paper points out that primary schools and teachers are greatly influenced by traditional educational concepts,primary mathematics teachers lack the study of teaching life theory,primary mathematics teachers lack modern teaching life concepts,primary mathematics teachers do not develop enough content of activation for students,andprimary schools do not form a complete number.This paper analyses the reasons for the evaluation mechanism of life-oriented learning and teaching,and finally puts forward that schools should change their concepts,attach great importance to the life-oriented teaching of primary mathematics,teachers should seriously study the curriculum standards,deepen the understanding of the activation of students,improve the ways and methods of activation of primary mathematics teachers and students,and enrich the dull teaching life of primary mathematics.Relevant countermeasures such as changing the content and improving the life-based evaluation system of primary school mathematics teaching are put forward.This study can make primary school mathematics teachers clearly recognize the shortcomings and defects of personal life mathematics teaching,so that they can have a clear understanding of life-oriented mathematics teaching in future teaching.I hope this study can provide some reference value and suggestions for the front-line primary school mathematics teachers’ life-oriented teaching.
