Reading teaching has always been the most important part of primary school Chinese teaching.Students’ reading ability and reading efficiency are directly related to the cultivation of students’ Chinese literacy.In order to improve the reading ability and reading efficiency of primary and secondary school students,the unified edition textbooks will be fully used in 2019,and the reading strategy unit will be set up independently in the unified edition textbooks of primary and secondary school Chinese.The ingenious design of reading strategy unit enables students to learn reading strategies in stages,which is convenient for teachers to integrate reading strategies intensively,and then helps students learn and master important reading strategies.At present,the unified textbook has just been put into use,"what are the characteristics of the reading strategy unit" and "how to teach" the reading strategy unit have become the most concerned and confusing problem for teachers.Therefore,it is necessary to study the textbook of reading strategy unit.Through the in-depth study of reading strategy unit textbook,we can understand its layout characteristics and prepare for the future reading strategy unit teaching.This study uses literature research,text analysis,statistics and other methods to analyze and study the selection and arrangement of reading materials based on the methodology of article reading,the transfer of educational psychology,acquisition theory and the theory of acceptance beauty,and then explores the characteristics of reading strategy unit and the suggestions of reading strategy unit teaching.It is found that the arrangement of reading strategy units has the following characteristics: unit independent setting,highlighting the Chinese elements;unit text selection arrangement,convenient for learning strategies;unit overall setting,focusing on reading strategies;teaching objectives progressive layer by layer,spiral distribution;multiple content presentation methods,strengthening the unit Chinese elements;strategy transfer and application,improving the ability of reading strategies.The four reading strategy units have the same commonness and some differences.At the end of this study,the teaching suggestions of reading strategy unit are put forward based on the analysis of reading strategy unit textbooks.To sum up,through this study,we hope that the primary school Chinese teachers can further analyze the layout characteristics of reading strategy units in the textbooks,and flexibly use the textbooks in combination with their own reality and the characteristics of the textbooks,summarize and improve the teaching of reading strategy units,so as to achieve the goal of improving students’ reading ability and reading efficiency.
