| Oral communication teaching plays an important role in cultivating students’ emotion and improving Chinese literacy,and plays an increasingly prominent role in primary school Chinese teaching.From "listening and writing words" to oral communication,the name of oral communication has changed,the concept is clearer,the practical nature is concerned,the students’ life reality is close,and the communication function is highlighted.In 2017,a wave of teaching material reform was ushered in.The primary school edition of Chinese teaching materials began to be used.Oral communication was independently arranged as an independent section.New method and strategy tips were added and communication topics were updated.These changes brought opportunities and challenges to oral communication teaching.This study takes the current textbooks compiled by the senior middle and senior grades of primary school Chinese(grade 3,grade 3,grade 4,grade 5,grade 6)as the research model,analyzes the content of oral communication,summarizes the characteristics of oral communication,and investigates the current situation of oral communication teaching in the first line by combining the methods of questionnaire and observation to analyze the causes of the current situation.The survey results show that the first-line Chinese teachers have paid attention to the changes in oral communication in the textbooks compiled by the Ministry.They attach importance to oral communication teaching ideologically,but the teaching effect is not good.The main reasons are as follows: First,there are fewer training and discussion activities in oral communication teaching;Second,teachers do not know enough about the content of oral communication in teaching materials.Third,the limitation of teachers’ professional development level;The fourth is the shortage of corresponding oral communication teaching resources.Fifth,there is a lack of indicators for the evaluation of oral communication teaching.Based on the present situation of oral communication teaching,this study puts forward five teaching suggestions that can be referenced,namely,to formulate clear teaching objectives,to improve the effectiveness of oral communication classroom exercises,to combine oral communication teaching with exercise teaching,and to provide teachers with five strategies for learning opportunities.This study is aimed at investigating the current situation of oral Chinese communication teaching in the middle and high school of Donggelu Primary School.This is of certain guiding significance for correctly understanding and analyzing the characteristics of oral communication teaching in the middle and high grades of primary schools and improving the problems existing in oral communication teaching. |
