Study On Competency Characteristics Of Coaches In Chinese Women’s Volleyball Super League

The coaches of the provincial first team women’s volleyball are the indispensable force to promote the development of China’s women’s volleyball.It is of strategic significance for the sustainable development of women’s volleyball in China to improve the coaching ability of women’s volleyball coaches,improve the talent selection of women’s volleyball coaches in all provinces of China,and innovate the on-the-job training system of women’s volleyball coaches.This study is divided into two parts: 1.Make a questionnaire of competence characteristics of volleyball coaches in China;2.2.To study the competence characteristics of coaches in Chinese women’s volleyball super league.In this study,literature analysis,expert interview,questionnaire survey and factor analysis were used to reach the following conclusions:(1)Competency characteristics of volleyball coaches are composed of 6 factors and 22 competency characteristics,including(1)training factors,including professional knowledge reserve,sports technology diagnosis,physical training knowledge,training plan formulation,professional and technical level,and innovation ability;(2)competition factors,including the ability to control,command and make decisions,self-confidence and recognition of the players;(3)learning factors,including lifelong learning ability,analysis and summary,reflective ability,perseverance;(4)management factors,including ability to cope with pressure,ability to motivate and regulate,ability to plan and coordinate,ability to organize and manage;(5)selection factors,including exploring and cultivating talents and guiding the growth of players;(6)character factor,including a strong sense of enterprise,responsibility.(2)competency characteristics of coaches in Chinese women’s volleyball super league(1)the professional skill level,professional knowledge reserve and training plan are the most important,while the physical training knowledge is the least important;(2)the recognition,control,command,decision-making ability and self-confidence of the players are of the highest importance in the competition factors;(3)the importance of lifelong learning ability,reflective ability,analysis and summary,and perseverance is the highest among the learning factors;(4)among the management factors,the importance of organizational management ability,motivation and coordination ability is the highest,and the importance of overall planning and coordination ability is the lowest;(5)in the selection factors,the importance of cultivating talents and guiding the growth of players is the same;(6)the strong sense of enterprise and sense of responsibility are equally important in character factors.
