Research On The Construction Of Coach Competency Model Of Football Youth Training Institutions In Shandong Province Under The New Situation

Research Objectives: From the control and support of the "double reduction" policy in 2021 and the "Announcement on Regulating Non-discipline Off-campus Training" in 2022 and the development of after-school services in primary and secondary schools,discipline-based off-campus training institutions have been gradually banned,the quality and norms of non-discipline off-campus training institutions have gradually improved,practitioners of non-discipline off-campus training institutions should have professional skill certificates,and youth training institutions enter the campus after after-school services are carried out,and the qualifications and abilities of youth football coaches are strictly required.At the same time,China’s "14th Five-Year Sports Development Plan" puts forward the strategy of revitalizing football,and football youth training is an important guarantee for the football development strategy.The football talents sent by Shandong Province are second to none in the country,and the improvement of the quality of football youth training in Shandong Province can indirectly promote the progress of national football level.Based on this,it is necessary to construct a set of model of the competence of coaches of football youth training institutions,according to the ability and quality of coaches in this model,to provide a basis for evaluating the coaching level of coaches in the future,and provide reference for the performance evaluation of coaches,which also has a positive effect on the improvement of football youth training quality in Shandong Province.Research Methods: In this study,a large number of literature on coaches’ competence was reviewed,and a large number of terms on the competency of football coaches were collected using the behavioral event interview method.Using the Delphi method to screen competency indicators from well-known football experts in Shandong Province;The selected competency indicators were compiled into a self-evaluation questionnaire for coaches to test the current competency status of coaches in football youth training institutions in society;SPSS and AMOS software were used to construct and verify the competency model of football coaches of social football youth training institutions.Results of the study:(1)This study uses the questionnaire survey method to find that the coaches of Shandong social football youth training institutions are mainly under35 years old,the coaches are mainly male,the coaches are mainly grade D,and the education background is mostly undergraduate or below.(2)After two rounds of evaluation of competency indicators by experts,the experts have high scores for five competency evaluation items,namely,the implementation of sports technical level,field command ability,competition experience,adaptability,and planning ability.Therefore,these five competencies are the core competencies of this competency model.(3)The competency model is obtained by exploratory factor analysis.The model is divided into four dimensions and 20 competency indicators,of which the knowledge and skill dimensions include information acquisition ability,teaching ability,communication ability,sports technology level,field command ability,football professional knowledge,and the professional quality dimensions include professionalism,attention to team members,attention to details,fairness and justice,and game experience,The dimensions of comprehensive management include overall planning and coordination,unity and cooperation,team management,adaptability,and planning ability.The dimensions of personal characteristics include research and learning ability,psychological quality,achievement motivation,and analysis and summary ability.(4)The model fitting index obtained by the use of confirmatory factor analysis is within the range of specified parameters,which can show that the competency level of coaches in Shandong social football youth training institutions is well summarized by the four dimensions of the model.Conclusion of the study:The results of confirmatory factor analysis fully verified the competency model built by exploratory factor analysis,indicating that the Shandong Province built by this research is relatively reliable and reasonable.And the model is more suitable to describe the competency of coaches in Shandong Youth Football Training Institute.
