Objective: Serum lipid metabolic markers are significantly correlated with the incidence of cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.Maintaining healthy lipid metabolism is of great significance in improving the quality of life and preventing the occurrence of diseases.Due to the modern people’s work and study more and more busy,so a gradual increase in the proportion of sedentary time of day. With the improvement of living standard and economic level, people have increasing demands for health. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to compare high-intensity interval training with crossover point training to achieve greater health benefits in limited exercise training time. Methods: 27 overweight adult women were enrolled in the study(20.93±2.23years),randomly divided into crossover point training group(COP group),high-intensity interval training group(HIIT group)and control group, before the start of the exercise intervention,VO2 max test and COP test were completed to determine the individual exercise intensity.COP group and HIIT group performed exercise intervention 3 times a week for 10 weeks. The COP group completed 45 min of COP intensity continuous exercise each time. The HIIT group completed 5 groups of HIIT each time, each group included 4min of running with an intensity of 85%VO2max,intermingled with 3min of low-intensity walking intervals with an intensity of 50%VO2max.Morphological and blood indexes were collected before and after exercise intervention, finally statistical analysis was conducted. Results: After 10 weeks of COP intensity continuous exercise or HIIT exercise intervention, compared with before the intervention, the morphological indicators of the COP group were significantly improved, with a significant decrease in BMI(P<0.05),a very significant decrease in waist circumference(P<0.01),and a significant decrease in hip circumference(P<0.05).Body fat percentage was significantly improved(P<0.05).Serum Apo B level was significantly decreased(P<0.05)and Apo B/Apo AI ratio was significantly decreased(P < 0.05),and the change in Apo B/Apo AI of the COP group after intervention was significantly greater than that of the HIIT group(P<0.05).No significant changes were observed in morphology, lipid metabolism and lipid ratio before and after intervention in HIIT group and control group(P>0.05).Conclusion: After 10 weeks of exercise intervention,COP intensity continuous exercise can improve BMI,waist circumference, hip circumference, body fat rate, serum Apo B,and Apo B/Apo AI ratio significantly in overweight female adults. However, there was no significant changes in HIIT group. The results suggest that compared with HIIT,10 weeks COP intensity continuous exercise is a more effective exercise method to improve abdominal obesity, lipid health and cardiovascular risk factors.
