In recent years,a number of excellent players with one-handed backhands have emerged in the men’s professional tennis world,which is in stark contrast to the singbacked one-handed backhands of previous years.Why did the one-handed backhand player make such great progress? This article compares and analyzes the technical and tactical application of two types of backhands,one-handed backhand and twohanded backhand,and compares it with the excellent one-handed backhand and twohanded backhand players in 2011 to find out the progress and reasons of one-handed backhand.This study uses literature data,video analysis,mathematical statistics and other methods.The top six ATP backhand players and two-handed backhand players in the ATP ranking in 2011 and 2019 were selected as the research objects.The video records of the games in 2011 and 2019 were selected.A comparative analysis of the use of techniques and tactics in the competition between the two backhand players,the conclusion is as follows:(1)By comparing the one-handed backhand with the two-handed backhand in2019,it is found that in the serve link,the gap between the two types of backhands in the indicators is almost the same.In the serve-receiving link,the two-handed backhand is higher than the one-handed backhand in all indicators,and the twohanded backhand has a slightly higher ability to serve.Forehand sideways and volleying techniques are a more effective offensive method for one-handed backhand players.One-handed backhands and two-handed backhands have a similar style of play.(2)In the serving tactics phase and the holding phase,the one-handed backhand is lower than the two-handed backhand in scoring efficiency and scoring contribution rate,and in the attack and defense phase after receiving,the one-handed backhand is higher than the two-handed backhand.Two-handed backhand is better than onehanded backhand in attacking(1 and 3 beats)and holding(5 and more beats)after serving,one-handed backhand is better than both hands in scoring ability in one shot(2 and 4 beats)after receiving and receiving Backhand.(3)By comparing the top six players in the rankings of ATP singles with onehanded backhand and two-handed backhand in 2019 and 2011,it was found that both the one-handed backhand and the two-handed backhand improved in the serve,but the one-handed backhand improved more obviously.Both the one-handed backhand and the two-handed backhand have declined in the serve-receiving process,but the one-handed backhand has a smaller decline.There is still a gap between one-handed backhands and two-handed backhands.The usage rate of backhand cuts with onehanded backhands has dropped significantly,forehand sideways and forehand draws have increased,and forehand sideways have become more efficient.The two-handed backhand has become more comprehensive and delicate in technology,instead of blindly pursuing the bottom line,but actively seeking change.(4)One-handed backhand and two-handed backhand increased the contribution rate of scoring in the serve tactics stage,and the score contribution rate in the offensive and defensive stage and the hold-off stage decreased after receiving.It shows that today’s tennis technical and tactical guiding ideology is more inclined to actively attack,the rhythm is obviously accelerated,and the gap between the onehanded backhand and the two-handed backhand in the holding phase is gradually narrowing,and the advantage of the two-hand backhand in the holding phase is weakened.One-handed backhands and two-handed backhands have a tendency to converge on the type of play,both of which are developing towards comprehensive players.(5)By comparing the technical and tactical data difference between one-handed backhand and two-handed backhand in 2011 and 2019,it was found that the onehanded backhand player made significant progress in the serve link,narrowed the gap with the two-handed backhand player in the serve link,and received more Be proactive and increase the awareness of receiving and attacking.The one-handed backhand player reduces the use of backhand cutting,enhances the forehand and backhand aggression,and reduces the excessive reliance on the previous active scoring method for the interception technique.Backhand players have made great progress. |
