Research On The Adaptablility Of Regional Universities And Regional Economic And Social Development

This paper attempts to interpret the relationship between higher education and the regionally economic and social development from a macroscopic perspective and focuses on analyzing the adaptability of higher education development in Fuqing from a microscopic perspective.Based on the above analysis,the strategy is thus put forward with regard to the adaptability of universities in Fuqing City to regionally economic and social development.Firstly,the writer analyzes the relationship between the regional development of higher education and regionally economic and social development,both of which restrain and promote each other.The development of adaptability is the surest way to achieving the scientific development of regional higher education.Additionally,the writer expounds the adaptability of higher education in Fuqing to the regionally economic and social development.This paper analyzes the current situation of the adaptability of universities in Fuqing to regionally economic and social development and its contribution factors through four cut-in points:the adaptability of the development of regional universities and regionally economic and social development,the adaptability of course design of regional universities to regional industrial structure and development,the adaptability of the research capabilities of regional universities to the innovation system of regional economy and social interaction,and the adaptability of the social function of regional universities to regional social development and construction.the writers thus comes to a conclusion that scientific and effective strategy should be adopted to strengthen the adaptability of regional universities to regionally economic and social development,to give full play to its enhancement of regionally economic and social development and to achieve scientific development.Lastly,the writer puts forward the strategy of strengthening the adaptability of regional universities in Fuqing to the regionally economic and social development.Based on the existent problems of the adaptability of universities in Fuqing to regionally economic and social development,this paper stresses the enhancement of the adaptability of universities in Fuqing to regionally economic and social development,sticks to the guideline of "Set foot in Fuqing,Head towards West Bank of Taiwan Strait",and implements the developmental strategy of mainly internal development supplemented by external development.
