With the promotion of the strategy of strengthening the army and rejuvenating the country,the social adaptation of demobilized military cadres has attracted more and more attention,and has become a key factor related to China’s national defense modernization and social stability.Especially at present,when the reform of national defense and the army,the adjustment of personnel policies for local cadres are accelerating,and the wave of market economy is surging,the resettlement and social adaptation of demobilized cadres are more complex,and the challenges and difficulties they face are more obvious.Deeply studying the social adaptation of demobilized military cadres and promoting the adjustment and improvement of relevant work is not only to meet the needs of the construction of socialist market economy,but also to promote the development of national defense and the army,but also the needs of social stability and prosperity.Combined with the new situation and characteristics of China’s social construction in the new era and the background of the adjustment and reform of the military establishment system,based on the basic theories such as pluralistic co governance theory,social adaptation theory and social integration theory,and using the research methods of literature analysis,investigation and interview,this paper conducted a questionnaire survey on 275 demobilized military cadres in H city,35 demobilized military cadres and their related colleagues,leaders and families were interviewed.According to the analysis framework of social adaptation theory,this paper analyzes the work career adaptation,daily life adaptation and psychological attribution adaptation of demobilized cadres.After summarizing the survey results,it is concluded that the demobilized military cadres are difficult to meet their expectations in terms of job adaptation because of the common phenomenon of delayed demotion in the determination of rank,the difficult placement of unit posts and the worry about promotion;Because interpersonal relationships jump out of the comfort circle,life convenience and living habits are challenged,there is a large gap in daily life adaptation,and social adaptation problems such as low personal participation and social acceptance in psychological attribution adaptation because it is difficult to achieve self realization and no response to needs.In view of the above problems,it is found that the policies and systems are not compatible with the reality of demobilized work,the social support is not strong enough,the military management of demobilized military cadres is not perfect,and there are deviations in the cognitive expectations of demobilized military cadres.Finally,based on the theory of pluralistic co governance,this paper proposes to improve the compatibility of policies and systems from the government level,enhance the support for demobilized cadres from the social level,strengthen the whole process management of demobilized cadres from the military level,and change the cognitive expectation of work and life from the personal level,so as to explore the practical countermeasures to improve the social adaptation of demobilized military cadres in China.
