Research On Marx’s ’Universal Communication’ In The Digital Age

Since the birth of a new round of industrial revolution,digital information technology has risen strongly all over the world.Under the tide of digitization,people’s social communication has also been marked with the brand of "digitization".It is self-evident that the digital transformation of communication faces certain risks and challenges,but at the same time,it also contains the possibility of "universal communication" under the category of Marx’s communication theory.Marx’s "universal communication" is an important prerequisite for the realization of communism.Summarizing the possibility of leading to "universal communication" from the communication reform under the digital wave can provide a path choice for the development of communication under the background of the new industrial revolution.Based on Marx’s concept of "universal communication",this paper takes the communication reform under the digital wave as the research object,explores the possibility of leading to "universal communication",and constructs a specific practical path on this basis.The structure of this paper consists of four parts,which aims to solve three problems: 1)how did Marx put forward,established and deepened the concept of "universal communication" ? What is its connotation? 2)What changes have taken place in human communication under the digital wave? 3)Does this change imply the possibility of "universal communication" ? If so,how to construct the development path to "universal communication".First of all,on the process and connotation of Marx’s concept of "universal communication".This paper puts Marx’s "universal communication" under the visual threshold of his communication theory,and combs the process of its proposal,establishment and deepening based on the classic texts such as the manuscript of economics and philosophy in 1844,German Ideology and criticism of political economy.On this basis,the triple connotation framework of the concept of "universal communication" is summarized.It is found that Marx’s discussion on "universal communication" is scattered in his theoretical works.On the whole,it is constantly evolving and improving in the process of taking human production and labor as the starting point,communism as the vision and capital criticism as the breakthrough.On this basis,this paper summarizes the triple connotation framework of the concept of "universal communication" :positioning "universal communication" in the historical changes of communication relations;Examining "universal communication" in the framework of human nature;Grasp "universal communication" from the dimension of world history.Secondly,on "the transformative elements of" universal communication "in the digital age".The digital age contains the transformative elements of "universal communication",which is embodied in that the rapid development of productivity constitutes the material starting point of "universal communication";The disintegration trend of private ownership has become the logical premise of "universal communication";The return of human nature has become the value purpose of "universal communication";Digital globalization creates a spatial basis for "universal communication".In addition,it analyzes the possibility of leading to "universal communication" in the digital age.This paper outlines the realization path to "universal communication" from the three elements of communication media,communication subject and communication relationship in the digital age.It is found that the self driving,strong shaping and supratemporal nature of communication media in the digital era provide technical support for "universal communication";The communication subject breaks away from digital dependence and realizes the subject personality in de identification,which has become the core element of "universal communication";The construction of the overall social communication relationship structure in communication form,production form,governance form and community form has become a realistic path to "universal communication".
