| Adhering to the original intention and mission of “seeking happiness for the Chinese people and rejuvenation for the Chinese nation”,the Communist Party of China has made poverty eradication its main goal and task since its establishment,and poverty alleviation has always been on a prominent position since the founding of the People’s Republic.The document--Decision on Winning the Battle against Poverty of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council in 2015 ensures that the rural poor will be lifted out of poverty by 2020,which is the most arduous task of building a moderately prosperous society in all aspect.In February 2021,Xi Jinping solemnly declared that China had won an all-round victory in the battle against poverty.In the process of winning the battle against poverty,“tens of thousands of good deeds in poverty alleviation have demonstrated the great love from the society and made the overwhelming power united”,with a large number of advanced individuals and collectives emerged,and touching stories of poverty alleviation happened.Then questions that how to better report the moving stories of these advanced individuals and collectives,and whether the communication effect of the relevant reports is deeply rooted in the hearts of the people,so as to guide the promotion of “Rural Revitalization”,starve for the answer in the field of news and communication after winning the battle to get rid of poverty.This study takes the new media platform Learning Power as the research case,adopting the saturated sampling method,selecting all the stories of the poverty alleviation of the local platform--Shaanxi learning platform from 2019 to 2021 as the research sample,and comprehensively analyzing the media presentation of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation stories on Shaanxi platform of “Learning Power” by using the methods of content analysis,text analysis,questionnaire survey and semi-structured interview.The basic approaches are as follows:(1)using Python to analyze the content of poverty alleviation and poverty alleviation stories in terms of report source,report time,report quantity,report object,report form,report region and report tendency,and summarize the different dimensions and basic characteristics of the media;(2)Using text analysis to further analyze the discourse and narrative of the research samples,and summarize the construction and significance of media image;(3)Using the methods of questionnaire and semi-structured interview to evaluate the effect of Shaanxi platform poverty alleviation story presentation;In addition,combining with the news framework theory,this paper analyzes the reasons that affect the presentation of poverty alleviation story media / the media presentation of the stories of the poverty alleviationThe study found that the Shaanxi platform poverty alleviation story has a significant communication effect on users’ the cognition,attitude,and behavior of the user,but there is still much room for improvement in the originality of the report content,the balance of the report tendency,and the self-image shaping of the poverty alleviation story;Then it put forward the following promotion strategies:(1)Balance the reporting tendency and advocate rational thinking;(2)Timely interpret the policy platform and strengthen the supervision of public opinion;(3)Improve the ability of media self-arrangement and create a rich media image;(4)Innovate the presentation form and use Internet thinking to report the stories of poverty alleviation;(5)Focus on the people and open up a new way for poverty alleviation. |
