With the increasing number of elderly people in China, the aging of the population is gradually deepening, and the demand for elderly people is increasing, the situation of elderly care in China is becoming more and more serious. With the weakening of the functions of family and institutional elderly care, the contradiction between the demand for elderly care and the lack of elderly care resources is becoming more and more prominent. In order to meet the needs of the elderly, the "time bank" model has been developed to meet the needs of the elderly. As a low-cost senior care solution,"time bank" transfers part of the work of caring for the elderly from the family to the society, increasing the role of the elderly as service providers and playing their own role in senior care,so that the elderly can better participate in social life and share the fruits of social development, while effectively using the remaining resources of the elderly to achieve active aging.Taiyuan City,Shanxi Province,as one of the first provinces and cities in China to carry out "time banking",has only opened an elderly care home with "time banking" function in Shuangyi Community,Yingze District, after bankruptcy, and has not been fully developed in the city. Therefore, the study of the factors influencing the willingness of the elderly to participate in the "time bank" in Taiyuan can provide some reference for the future development. This paper adopts literature induction method, questionnaire survey method and empirical analysis method to summarize the research experience of related scholars, and make a questionnaire to investigate the basic situation of the elderly in Taiyuan and their demands for "time bank".The questionnaire was designed to investigate the basic situation of the elderly in Taiyuan and their demands for "time banking".We also integrated the theory of planned behavior, technology acceptance model, risk perception theory, and cognitive degree to build a model of influencing factors. The five-level Likert scale was used to set the variable items from eight levels: behavioral cognitive status, participation attitude, subjective norm, perceptual behavior control, perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, risk perception, and willingness to participate, and SPSS26.0 and AMOS26.0 software were used to conduct descriptive analysis and reliability analysis on the questionnaire data and construct a structural equation model to verify the The research hypotheses were tested. The results of the study showed that behavioral attitudes, perceived usefulness, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and cognitive degree had significant effects on willingness to participate;perceived usefulness had a positive effect on attitudes;and risk perception had a negative effect on willingness to participate.Based on the analysis of the research results, the paper combined with previous studies and proposed suggestions to improve the willingness of elderly people to participate in "time banking",mainly including, strengthening publicity to enhance awareness, clarifying the responsibility of multiple subjects, formulating and improving laws and regulations, and improving the "time banking" supervision system. The main suggestions are to enhance publicity and awareness, clarify the responsibilities of multiple subjects, formulate and improve laws and regulations, and improve the supervision system of "time bank".
