Research On The Influencing Factors Of The Public’s Willingness To Use The Mobile Government APP

As a new development in e-government,the mobile,fast and convenient features of government APP have attracted a lot of public attention.Since the official slogan of "Internet + Government Services" was introduced in 2016,governments across the country have responded positively and taken the initiative to start building government APP.As one of the important windows of mobile government,mobile government APP has brought great changes to the public’s handling of affairs and access to information.Through mobile government APP,the public can use their mobile terminals to quickly conduct government business,access government information and interact with relevant government departments in a fast and timely manner online.However,in practice,the public usage rate of mobile government APP is not optimistic,and the public’s willingness to use it still needs to be improved.If we want to build a healthy and orderly development pattern of mobile government APP,we must pay attention to the public’s willingness to use and usage behavior as the main body of users.To this end,this paper poses the following questions: In the face of the poor public usage rate of mobile government APP,what are the influencing factors that affect the public’s willingness to use government APP? How should the government and related public service departments build and develop mobile government APP in the future to enhance the public’s willingness to use them?Based on the in-depth study and appropriate integration of TAM model and UTAUT model,this paper identifies the basic research variables and introduces new variables such as relative advantage and platform trust based on the characteristics of government APP,and incorporates gender,age,education level and occupation into the model to construct a conceptual model of factors influencing public willingness to use mobile government APP.The aim of this paper is to understand and explore the important factors that influence the public’s willingness to use mobile government APP,and to propose targeted countermeasures on this basis.This paper designed a survey questionnaire on the public’s willingness to use mobile government APP.294 valid data were collected through an online survey,and the participants were the public who had used the mobile government APP.On the basis of correlation analysis,multiple regression analysis and ANOVA,different tests were conducted on all the research hypotheses proposed in this paper,and the following conclusions were obtained:(1)the public’s perception of the ease of use of the mobile government APP positively influences its perceived usefulness;(2)platform trust positively influences the public’s perception of the relative advantage of the mobile government APP;(3)perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,perceived social influence,relative advantage,and platform trust positively and significantly affect willingness to use.(4)There are significant differences in social influence and platform trust among people with different education levels.This paper explores the influence of five variables including perceived usefulness,perceived ease of use,social influence,platform trust and relative advantage and four control variables including gender,age,education and occupation on the intention to use.The findings of this study not only help the government to better respond to citizens’ needs for government services according to the real situation,but also to gradually increase the awareness of the mobile government app.The results of the study will not only help the government to better respond to citizens’ demand for government services in accordance with the reality,but also to expand and enhance the public’s acceptance of the mobile government app and further increase the public’s willingness to use the mobile government app,which will also promote the healthy development of the mobile government app,so that the mobile government app can get out of the strange circle of "zombie app once it is launched".More importantly,through the development and continuous improvement of the mobile government APP platform,it also provides a more convenient and effective channel for communication and interaction between the public and the government,as well as improving the service level and quality of development of service-oriented and e-government.
