Analysis On The Political Functions Of The Rituals In Party Building Activities Of The Communist Party Of China

With the modernization of national governance,ritual is no longer a category of mysticism in traditional political civilization,but is oriented towards state construction and state governance,which highlights its important significance in modern political development.Since ancient times,rituals have been widely used to maintain social stability,promote social transformation and instill political ideas.Compared with other means,political ceremony has remarkable characteristics,including symbolism,political nature and standardization.It builds political image and political belief through symbolic system.Through cultural representation to establish political order,the construction of political legitimacy;Write collective memory depending on specific situation,condense collective identity.Since its founding,the CPC has attached great importance to Party building,taking it as an important way to promote self-revolution and realize national governance.In recent years,the COMMUNIST Party of China attaches great importance to the significance of political ceremony,and introduces the governance advantages of political ceremony into the field of party building.As an important structure of political system and political process,ritual activities assume important political functions.Using the theoretical framework of political ritual,this paper analyzes the political functions of ritual activities in party building activities of the Communist Party of China,including symbolic function,representational function and indoctrination function.On the basis of using "to celebrate the 100 th anniversary of the founding of the communist party of China" the political rituals as a case study,the first of its constituent elements of symbol system is analyzed,then the red songs medley,the flag-raising ceremony and address leaders analyze the three main parts,respectively with political rituals of representation,symbols and corresponding infusion function.The red songs show the red culture of the COMMUNIST Party of China,the flag-raising ceremony shapes the political image of the Party,and the leader’s speech also completes its mission as a carrier of indoctrination function.Political ceremony plays an important role in national governance.However,it is necessary to explore the sustainable development path of ritual activities in today’s social environment where multi-cultural values are intertwined.We should strengthen the interaction between the subject and object of ritual activities and innovate the developing form of ritual activities.Expand the communication channels of ritual activities and excavate the connotation value of ritual activities.Through the implementation of the above ways,political ritual can cope with multiple challenges from all sides in the process of development,but also avoid falling into the misunderstanding of generalization and rigidity,and finally realize the benign operation of political ritual in China and the continuous optimization of national governance.
