A Historical Examination Of The Ceremonies Commemorating The Founding Of The Chinese Communist Party Over The Past Hundred Years And Contemporary Insights

The ceremony commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China is an important political activity that embodies the Party’s value objectives and permeates the Party’s value orientation,and is also an advantageous political resource that promotes the Party’s self-revolution and establishes the Party’s political authority.The party founding ceremonies have been a part of the Chinese Communist Party’s century-long struggle,releasing a powerful energy of cohesion and unity from week to week,and possessing an irreplaceable political status.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical significance to examine the party founding ceremonies and clarify their contemporary revelations.This essay is guided by dialectical materialism and historical materialism from a centenary perspective.Based on the results of multidisciplinary research,it compares specific historical facts and attempts to conduct a panoramic examination of the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China over the past century,uncovering their stage characteristics and evolutionary patterns,and then summarises the innovative development paths for the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China in the new era.On the one hand,it aims to inspire new ideas for the study of the history of the Communist Party of China,especially the history of the commemoration of the Communist Party of China;on the other hand,it aims to enhance the scientific and effective work of the Party building of the Communist Party of China.This article is based on the research idea of "historical investigation-contemporary inspiration",and consists of the following six parts:Part Ⅰ,Introduction.It discusses the background,purpose and significance of the study of the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China,and analyses the current situation of the study of the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China,and focuses on the key points,difficulties and innovations of the study,as well as the basic contents and methods of the study.In the second part,an overview of the commemorative ceremonies of the founding of the Communist Party of China is presented.Firstly,the basic connotations of rituals and commemorative ceremonies are elaborated,and their intrinsic links are explored,on the basis of which the core concept of commemorative ceremonies for the founding of the CPC is defined.It also examines the exact date of the opening of the First National Congress of the Communist Party of China,explaining the reasons for the split between the date of the founding of the Party and the opening of the First Congress of the Communist Party of China,and discussing the process by which July 1st was accepted and recognized by all sectors of society as a symbol;The theoretical and cultural origins of the traditional Chinese ritual and indoctrination theory,the Western ritual theory,the important ideas of propaganda work of classic Marxist writers,and the theory of ideological and political education carriers are explored,which both highlight the rational theoretical support and lay the prerequisite theoretical foundation for the study,Finally,it is pointed out that the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China have the functional values of refining party spirit,building up faith,maintaining authority,mobilizing,enhancing emotion,gathering consensus,summarizing experience and promoting spirit.In the third part,the historical changes of the ceremonies commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China over the past century are discussed.This section presents a historical survey based on the logic of time,describing the different spiritual styles and characteristics of the times that emerged during the process of the rituals of the founding of the Communist Party of China,from the stage of conception and germination to the stage of exploration and development and then to the stage of maturity and perfection.The fourth part is about the evolution of the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China over the past century.Based on a detailed historical study,this section summarises the evolutionary pattern of the ceremonies held to commemorate the founding of the Communist Party of China over the past hundred years,from small to large in scale,from disorderly to orderly in conduct,from single to rich in form,and with themes adjusted to changing circumstances.Part 5: Contemporary inspirations for the conduct of the rituals commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China over the past century.Based on the century-long development of the rituals for commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China and the evolution of the rituals for commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China,the innovative inspirations for conducting the rituals for commemorating the founding of the Communist Party of China in the new era are explored in a deep and multi-dimensional manner.Concluding remarks.A brief summary of this study is presented,again pointing out the key elements and main values of this study,and briefly outlining the problems and shortcomings that still exist in the study.
