Research On The Factors Influencing The Public’s Continuous Use Of Government Websites

The government website is a fusion product of the Internet and government reform,an online channel for communication between the government and the public,and a key measure to promote government reform.The existence of government websites,on the one hand,provides a new and convenient working mode for government offices,on the other hand,it also promotes the reform of government e-government affairs,Promote the modernization of national governance capacity and system.The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has hindered the way of dealing with government affairs offline,and the use of government websites has also increased significantly.With the use of government websites by the public,many problems have been exposed to the government websites.How to solve these problems so that the public can continue to use government websites It has gradually become an urgent research topic.This research mainly focuses on the factors that affect the continuous use of government websites by the public.Research on government websites at home and abroad lacks a public perspective,so the research is carried out from the direction of users’ continuous use.Domestic and foreign research on user continuous use lacks the support of the public’s internal driving factors,nor does it take user continuous use behavior as the final variable.Therefore,this study combines external influencing factors that affect the public with internal driving factors,and proposes implementation intentions as a Mediation variables.Choose information system use theory,information system success theory,rational behavior theory,immersion theory,habit theory,and behavior execution intention theory to construct a model of "influencing the public’s continued use of government websites",put forward relevant hypotheses based on the model,and verify the hypotheses.Through SPSS26.0,the research data collected online affecting the public,the internal driving factors of the public,and the mediating effect of implementation intentions.The results show that perceived trust,external environment,satisfaction,perceived synchronization,perceived control,and concentration can positively affect the public’s continued use intention of government websites.
