| Aging Problem nowadays is an issue of common concern among all countries.Along with the aging wave,even the senility wave,empty nest phenomenon,people raise all sorts of questions about the elderly people’s livelihood.The proportion of the old man who lose their physical function due to aging or illness is rising sharply.Those elderly dramatically increases the demand for long-term care.However,with the acceleration of the social transformation,the miniaturization of the family structure,the function of family supporting for the old is weakening.On the other hand,the concept of old-age security mode has gradually changed from family-based support for the aged to the social support for the aged.The position and function of the multiple subject has been increasingly highlighted.Under such background,it is urgent to improve the social support system of the long-term care for those disabled elderly.According to the past and present situation of disabled eldery,this dissertation analysis thesocial problem and suggest whole society to care,understand and support disabled elderly.Firstly the author grasp the overall situation of China’s aging population,especially an in-depth analysis of Shanghai population aging,the miniaturization of family structure and the elderly health to understand the development of long-term care needs of old people in Shanghai.Secondly,with field research data of J district in Shanghai,the author get further information about the basic living condition,economial status,daily lives caring,medical,nursing condition and spiritual consolation of the disabled elderly.Based on the real demand of them,the author point the existing problems of their social support system from economial support,health support and service support,including low level financial security,imperfect medical insurance,lack of long-term care cost guarantee mechanism etc.At last,the author is trying to provied some workable suggestions from macro level,medium level and micro level layers for the improvement and completion of the social support system of the disabled elderly. |
