A Study On Hybrid Warfare

Hybrid warfare is a hot issue in the contemporary world.And the modern hybrid war theory is the most advanced war theory nowadays.Based on the subject of "hybrid warfare",this paper takes "the formation and evolution of hybrid war theory" as the vertical axis and "the strategic guidance of modern hybrid war" as the horizontal axis to comprehensively interpret and analyze the issue of hybrid warfare.The time axis includes the start of hybrid war under the background of cold war,hoffmann’s hybrid war theory under the background of anti-terrorism and modern hybrid war theory under the background of great power game.The horizontal axis of contents includes the strategic objectives,strategic guidelines,strategic means,organization and the implementation of modern hybrid war.Through these "vertical and horizontal" axes,the comprehensive analysis and overall grasp of hybrid war can be realized.On this basis,the thesis returns to the subject of "modern hybrid war" itself,considering and exploring issues like the origin of the modern hybrid war,and its difference comparing with traditional warfare.The thesis also proposes four countermeasures on how to deal with the hybrid warfare,which include consolidating the national ideologies,strengthening the construction of comprehensive national strength,enhancing comprehensive decision-making ability,expanding international diplomatic cooperation,and strengthening the military construction.The war is a national priority,a matter of life and death,and must be taken seriously.Modern hybrid war as the latest form of warfare has been confirmed by the Ukraine crisis,Syrian war and other warfares.The theory of modern hybrid warfare has gradually matured and become practical and applicable.As a major developing country,China is shouldering more and more responsibilities on the world stage,and facing more risks and challenges.To this end,we should deepen the study of hybrid war theory,especially on the analysis of modern hybrid warfares,so that we can know ourselves and take preventive measures.
