According to the China Development Report 2020: Trends and Policies of China’s Aging Population released by the China Development Research Foundation in June 2020,the period between 2035 and 2050 will be the peak period of China’s aging population. It is predicted that by 2050,China’s elderly population aged 65 and above will reach 380 million, accounting for nearly 30% of the total population. There will be nearly 500 million people aged 60 or above, accounting for more than a third of the total population. At present, under the background of increasingly serious population aging, declining family endowment capacity and insufficient development of institutional endowment,home-based care combining the advantages of family endowment and institutional care is an important measure to serve the elderly and promote the construction of the elderly care service system. The deep integration of "Internet +" with all walks of life also provides a new development idea for traditional home-based care services. The introduction of "Internet +" into home-based care services can not only accurately meet the needs of the elderly, realize the optimal allocation of resources, but also further enhance the sense of acquisition, happiness and participation of the elderly. The development of "Internet +" home-based care services has gradually attracted wide attention from the society.Based on Maslow’s Hierarchy of needs theory, welfare pluralism theory and elderly activity theory, this paper conducts a questionnaire survey in Yuzhong District, the district with the highest proportion of elderly people in Chongqing, and uses SPSS23.0 statistical software to select 10 independent variables from three dimensions, including individual factors, family factors and cognition degree of "Internet +" home care service.Through chi-square test and logistic regression analysis,it is found that the elderly’s demand for "Internet +" home-based care services in Yuzhong District of Chongqing is mainly reflected in daily care, health care and intelligent social networking. The significant influencing factors include the elderly’s health status, the number of family members who have gone to college, the number of children of the elderly, the elderly’s understanding of "Internet +" home-based care services and whether they can operate smart phones. In response to these needs and their influencing factors, the measures to improve the "Internet +" home care services in Yuzhong District,Chongqing are proposed from the following aspects.First,to meet the diversified service needs of the elderly and develop "Internet +" care services with Chongqing characteristics;Second, build a diversified "Internet +" service provider, play the leading role of the government, and guide social capital to participate;Third, improve supporting measures to ensure "Internet +" services, clarify service quality standards, attach importance to information training for the elderly, increase publicity, and cultivate compound talents. |
