Research On Consolidating The Leading Position Of The Party’s Political Construction In The New Era

The 19 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)brought political construction into the overall layout of party building for the first time,and clearly stated that "the party’s political construction is the fundamental construction of the party","putting the party’s political construction first" and "taking the party’s political construction as the guide".It marks the deepening of the CPC Central Committee’s understanding of the law of party building,and once again innovates and develops the Marxist theory of the construction of the ruling party.The CPC Central Committee has formulated a new top-level design to promote Party building in the new period,in which political construction occupies a dominant position.We should unify our thoughts and actions with the new deployment of the party’s political construction,and thoroughly analyze the deep-seated reasons for the evolution of this era and the requirements of the new era."The political construction of the Party" and "the leading position of the political construction of the Party" are two different concepts.Taking the party’s political construction as the leading factor has put forward new directions and new requirements for promoting the party’s political construction.It is necessary to take the leading position of the party’s political construction as the research object,and build a realistic path to consolidate the leading position of the party’s political construction on the basis of systematic analysis of its conceptual connotation,generating logic,functional effectiveness and problem challenges.Based on the Marxist theory of the political construction of the ruling party and the related expositions of the leaders of the CPC,especially General Secretary Xi Jinping,this paper analyzes and summarizes the scientific connotation and basic characteristics of the leading position of the party in political construction.This paper combs the generation logic of the Party’s leading position in political construction from three angles: the basic principles of party politics,the history of party political construction,and the comprehensive and strict administration of the party,summarizes the realistic achievements and risks faced by consolidating the Party’s leading position in political construction in the new period,and explores the path and mechanism to further consolidate the Party’s leading position in political construction on the basis of in-depth theoretical analysis of the problems.This paper holds that the dominant position of the party’s political construction refers to the hierarchical position of political construction in the new great project of party building,which reflects the logical relationship between the party’s political construction and other constructions,and is reflected in all levels of the overall layout of party building.Politics is the first attribute of political party organization.The political essence of Marxist political parties is advancement and purity,which plays a fundamental role in upholding and strengthening the overall leadership of the party.It is necessary to consolidate the party’s leading position in political construction and maintain and develop the party’s advanced nature and purity.In the new period,the Communist Party of China has made remarkable achievements in consolidating its Leading Position of the Party’s Political Construction,and successfully integrated political guidance and principles into party building.However,it still faces problems and challenges.At the cognitive level,it shows that it can’t systematically grasp the scientific connotation of the party’s leading position in political construction at the cognitive level;At the value level,it shows that it has not yet established an ideology that emphasizes politics;At the practical level,it is manifested as various existing political hidden dangers;At the system level,it shows that there is no long-term mechanism to consolidate the leading position of the party’s political construction.These problems have different causes,so we must give prominence to problem orientation and systematic thinking,and explore effective countermeasures.It is necessary to gather scientific consensus,cultivate value orientation,consolidate political foundation,and strengthen the institutional guarantee led by the party’s political construction.
