Study On The Problems And Countermeasures In The Operation Of The Elderly Volunteer Organization

At present,the whole society in China is gradually forming a positive view of the elderly group,in order to deal with the problem of the increasingly severe aging of the population in China,the state has also introduced the corresponding policies to encourage the elderly to actively participate in the society,so as to achieve the goal of "the old have fun,the old have something to do".In order to continue to contribute to their own strength and realize their social value,more and more elderly people choose to participate in voluntary services,so the figure of elderly volunteer organizations is also gradually active in social voluntary services.This paper aims to promote the good operation of elderly volunteer organizations.Through in-depth excavation and analysis of the problems in the operation process of elderly volunteer organizations,corresponding suggestions and countermeasures are put forward,and the function of social work is played,so as to promote the healthy and orderly development of elderly volunteer organizations.This study takes "Sunset Red" elderly volunteer organization in A community of E City as the research object.On the basis of consulting relevant literatures of elderly volunteers at home and abroad,field research is conducted and relevant data are collected through participatory observation method and semi-structured interview method.First,the characteristics,the demand for A community elderly volunteers and elderly volunteer organization,on the basis of the basic situation understanding,teasing out the elderly volunteer organizations in the problems existing in the operation process and its reason,mainly includes the individuals involved in the problems in the elderly volunteers,elderly volunteer organizations in training,service,the problems existing in the management and support.In order to help the elderly volunteer organizations effectively solve the problems in the operation process,the author from the perspective of social work,discusses how to give full play to its function and social work to help the elderly volunteer organizations to resolve the problem,and on the basis of using the experience of other successful cases,combined with local actual situation,put forward the corresponding solution countermeasures.First of all,we need to promote the positive outlook on aging and encourage the elderly to participate in voluntary services.Secondly,the training content of elderly volunteers should be optimized to improve their service skills.Thirdly,it is necessary to promote the diversified development of elderly volunteer organization services and improve service quality.Fourthly,it is necessary to improve the management level of elderly volunteer organizations and promote standardized operation.Finally,it is necessary to strengthen the support and guarantee of the senior volunteer organizations to promote the sustainable development of the organizations.
