Research On The Influencing Factors And Improving Countermeasures Of Urban Public Security In Hohhot

The sense of public security is people’s overall subjective feelings about the objective conditions of social security and an important indicator to measure the overall status of social security.Studying the public’s sense of security is of great significance to the promotion of safety construction and the modernization of urban governance.The thesis uses Maslow’s hierarchy of needs theory,social risk theory and other theories as analytical tools,and uses research methods such as literature research,survey questionnaires,in-depth interviews,and empirical analysis to study the issue of urban public security.It reveals that residential and public places preventive measures and residents’ safety awareness have a significant positive impact on the public’s sense of safety.On this basis,four countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to improve the public’s sense of safety: First,give full play to the government’s role in public safety.The functional tasks of management and service,weave a dense security governance network;the second is to strengthen the construction of urban public safety infrastructure,and comprehensively improve safety protection measures;the third is to strengthen the construction of safe communities,and to comprehensively improve the environmental safety of residential areas;the fourth is to increase public security and safety education,To focus on improving residents’ safety awareness and safety prevention capabilities.
