| In recent years,vocabulary such as low cost of crime,impulsive crime,and lack of legal concepts have become keywords in public opinion for criminal minors.In the process of the socialization of minors,due to their immature minds and little social experience,values and codes of conduct have not yet been fully established.Coupled with the influence of unfavorable factors such as the bad network environment,lack of family education,and unhealthy peer groups,social workers tend to ignore the social and family reasons for criminal minors’ participation in illegal crimes in the process of observing,protecting,helping and educating.As a result,the effectiveness of assistance and education services is unsatisfactory,and the possibility of minors involved in crimes re-offending.Therefore,this article is based on the theory of social support and intervenes the client’s social support network through professional casework,especially when the family,peer groups,social resources and other social support are insufficient to improve its role in the client’s life.On the basis of clarifying the relevant theories and practical working methods of the minors involved in crimes,social workers start from the perspective of minors involved in crimes and their family members,social relations,and communities.Understand the background information of the client and the problems they are facing,and explore the reasons,motives,and stories behind the crimes committed by the minors.In the course of practice,we abide by the three principles of “education,probation,and rescue”,conduct social investigations on the objects of care and education,build a social support network around the case service client,record the whole process of case service activities,and base ourselves on the crime involved.Minors themselves carry out service activities to help the social needs of minors involved in crimes.Therefore,it has certain advantages in exploring the practical process of watching,protecting,helping and teaching criminal minors.The practical results show that,on the one hand,due to the special status of criminal minors,their rights are vulnerable to infringement.It is easier to obtain material support and emotional support by strengthening the formal and informal support of criminal minors.Consolation to protect the rights of minors involved in crimes.On the other hand,in the service process,centering on the client,through parental education of the father,sorting out peer relationships,linking social resources to help the client,helping them to correctly understand themselves,their family and peers during the period of guarding and teaching.Groups are better accepted by the general public,which will help minors involved in crimes better integrate into society after receiving non-custodial penalties,and reduce the possibility of committing crimes. |
