A Study On Social Adaptation Of The Elderly In Relocation

The relocation policy is one of the key poverty-relief policies in the new era,and it is also a new way for the poor people to get rid of poverty and become rich.Relocation is a multi-benefit way to help the poor,which not only protects the economy and protects the ecological environment,but also respects the people’s will to move.In order to win the battle against poverty,we must carry out the policy of relocation to help the poor.Although the relocation policy can promote the pace of moving people out of poverty,but the social adaptability of the moving group is a worthy concern in the process of policy implementation.The social adaptation of the relocated people is closely related to the effect of the relocation policy.If the social adaptation of the relocated people can not be effectively solved,it will to a great extent be detrimental to the sustainable stability of the overall poverty eradication,the existence of a poverty rebound crisis is not conducive to social harmony.In this paper,the group work method is used to reconstruct the informal support network of the Elderly Society in the new community,and to expand the interpersonal communication of the elderly,the elderly to have a full understanding of the new community,gradually adapt to community life.The content of the group activities enriches the life of the elderly in their later years,promotes the elderly to have a clearer understanding of the community resources,to make better use of the community resources and to adapt to the new community environment.At present,there is little research on the social adaptation of the old people after the relocation of the poor people from other areas.We hope that through this research,we can better play the role of social work in the relocation of the poor,let social workers better serve the elderly after poverty alleviation and relocation,promote their smooth integration into the new living environment,contribute to the overall eradication of poverty and win the battle against poverty.
