With the continuous development of China from a “great sporting nation”to a “sports power”,the "national system" has trained a large number of athletes,made proud achievements in the international arena,and added luster to the motherland,but also produced a large number of retired athletes.How to promote the smooth employment of retired athletes is related to the professional development of athletes and the sustainability of competitive sports Continuous development is the focus and difficulty of the development of national and Tianjin sports work.In recent years,Tianjin has issued a number of policies and measures to deal with the employment of retired athletes,some of them have been properly employed,some of them have been developing their own career,but some of them have not been employed.Through consulting the relevant literature and materials at home and abroad on promoting the employment of retired athletes;consulting the relevant policy documents of the state and Tianjin Municipality on the employment of retired athletes;randomly selecting 400 retired athletes from 2009 to 2018 to make statistics;distributing and statistics on the employment willingness and demand of retired athletes in Tianjin;investigating the relevant leaders and workers of the sports department By interviewing the retired athletes,coaches and athletes,we know that the employment problems of retired athletes in Tianjin include: the old employment concept of retired athletes;the low competitiveness of employment;the government’s insufficient economic compensation and injury compensation for self employment;fewer jobs;the large number of retired athletes and so on.The main reasons for these problems include the lack of guidance for retired athletes to choose a correct career;the lack of career planning;the lack of commercial insurance for athletes’ injuries;the lack of attention paid by sports teams to athletes’ culture and education;the lack of training for retired athletes’ mobilization and employment skills;policies to guide and encourage athletes to start their own businesses need to be strengthened;sports Mobilization and selection are not strict.In view of the above problems and their causes,the paper puts forward countermeasures for the employment of retired athletes in Tianjin by referring to the experience of promoting the employment of retired athletes at home and abroad.First,the government further improved the employment policy for athletes,including policy guidance to encourage independent entrepreneurship,and vigorously develop the sports industry.Second,by improving the economic compensation of retired athletes who choose their own jobs,we should establish commercial insurance for athletes to improve the security system of retired athletes in Tianjin.Thirdly,sports teams should optimize the mechanism of selecting and training athletes,including the establishment of standardized level of selecting athletes;strengthening the cultural education of athletes;strengthening the training of employment skills and employment guidance of retired athletes.Fourth,the sports team should strengthen the career guidance of the athletes,and establish the correct career outlook of the athletes. |
