Problems And Countermeasures Of Democratic Election At Village Level

Villager autonomy is to let the majority of villagers manage their own villages independently,which is a form of grass-roots democracy in China.Villagers’ autonomy mainly includes four aspects: democratic election,democratic management,democratic decision-making and democratic supervision,among which democratic election is the most basic and important one.Since 1988,the villagers’ self-government system began to be implemented in the vast rural areas of China.As an important part of it,democratic election has also experienced more than30 years of development.The implementation of democratic election system has provided great convenience for the development of grass-roots democracy and rural areas in China.However,during the implementation process for so many years,many problems have also been exposed,such as the consolidation of village cadres Problems such as low physical quality and weak ability to drive the development of village level hinder the process of Rural Revitalization to a great extent.The foundation of rural organization revitalization and talent revitalization lies in the selection of cadres and the cultivation of excellent young talents.Only by conducting democratic elections can we ensure the smooth progress of other "three democracies" and lay a solid foundation for the overall revitalization of the countryside.In the face of many problems in democratic election,we need to carefully analyze,reasonably plan,guide the democratic election activities,standardize the rules and regulations of democratic election,so as to play a greater role in promoting the construction of democracy at the grassroots level.In this paper,through the study of the 10 th democratic election in X town of F County,we interview the participants of various aspects of democratic election,analyze the typical cases of democratic election in X town of F County,summarize and analyze the existing problems of democratic election in X town of F county and put forward countermeasures and suggestions,so as to make the future democratic election work more standardized,fair and effective.
