The Study On The Influences Of The Overseas Chinese Communities In Thailand On Sino-Thai Relationship Since 20th Century

The Overseas Chinese Community in Thailand is a natural and indispensable carrier in Thai-Chinese relations.From the end of the 19^th century to the beginning of the 20^th century,Thailand and China have gone through different historical stages,and the overseas Chinese communities have had different influences on the relations between the two countries.In the context of Thai-Chinese relations where“Overseas Chinese Problems”existed from the end of the 19^th century to the middle of the 20^th century,the political identity of the Chinese community,economic"occupation"as well dual nationality issues exacerbated the"overseas Chinese problems",the existence of which had further weakened the Thai-Chinese relationship.However,after the"overseas Chinese problem"subsided,the overseas Chinese community has taken advantage of the situation and actively promoted the settlement of the above problem from many aspects of politics,economy and culture,which promoted the improvement of the Thai-Chinese relationship.After the“Overseas Chinese problem”had been settled down,many new immigrants and new issues have become the key factors to affect the relationship between Thailand and China,and the overseas Chinese community at this time also played an optimistic role in the relationship between Thailand and China.
