The Strategy Of The Elderly Sexual Behavior In The Nursing Home

China has entered an elderly society in 2000.As of the end of 2017,there were about 1.87 million people living in elderly care institutions in China.Providing for the elderly in the elderly care institutions has become a major choice for the elderly.Investigation and research on the staff in the elderly care institutions of city B to the elderly’s sexual expression,analysis of the expression of the sexual expression of the elderly in the elderly institution,and the frequency of reporting of the sexual expression of the elderly by the caregivers.Through the FAQ scale and the ASKAS scale,we can understand the staff’s knowledge and attitude towards the elderly.According to the interview materials,the causes of the sexual expression of the elderly are summarized into three types: unconscious behaviors affected by diseases,psychological factors caused,and normal physiological responses.According to the three categories of staff,management and organizational culture,the coping style of elderly care institutions in the face of elderly human expression is divided.Based on this,we find that the sexual expression of the elderly in the elderly care institutions has the greatest impact on the caregivers,and the negative effects are the main factors.The problems existing in the elderly’s response to the sexual expression of the elderly are summarized as three points,there are no relevant system regulations,standardized response norms and processes;lack of personalized needs assessment and service provision for the elderly;inadequate knowledge and skills of caregivers in responding to the sexual expression of the elderly.The way of expression and the existing problems are mainly affected by three reasons: the traditional concepts of our country,the contradiction between the safety protection of the elderly and the satisfaction of the needs,and the insufficie nt professional training of caregivers.To protect the sexual expression of the elderly,from the perspective of the government,society,pension institutions and caregivers,put forward corresponding policy recommendations for the protection of sexual ex pression in the elderly in China’s elderly institutions.
