Studies Of Criminal Classification Management In Liaoning Provincial Prison System

Criminal classification management is a very important criminal management system in modern prison management,focusing on the correction technical level,targeted on individualized,typed and batchized education reform of criminals.The basic idea of the classification management of criminals is to properly detain them according to the different circumstances of the offenders,and to carry out the classification and transformation that is different from person to person.Classification management embodies the idea of individual punishment for execution.It not only facilitates the realization of prison management objectives,but also helps improve the efficiency of reforming criminals.This topic uses field research,interviews and other methods to track the status and dilemma of the classification of criminals in the prison system in Liaoning Province by tracking the classification management and the results of educational reforms from the time of admission to the prison,combined with the interview records of the police officers.From the perspective of public management,this paper explores the dilemma and causes of criminal classification management in prison system in Liaoning Province in many aspects,and proposes three levels of research ideas:hierarchical detention,classification management,and classification education,and analyzes problems from these three levels to propose solutions.And using the PDCA cycle theory in public management,the criminals’ hierarchical custody,classification management,grading treatment,and classification education are all formed together to form a complete cycle,constantly correcting the program and improving the transformation effect,and finally achieving the "species and the cure" educational correction effect.This topic starts from the investigation of the classification management of criminals in the prison system of Liaoning Province,and explores the research countermeasures for the classification management of criminals in the prison system of Liaoning Province.This paper discusses the five aspects of the criminal institution classification system,the new ideas of the criminal classification system,and the new ideas from the setting up of prison institutions,standardizing classification standards and procedures,expanding the space for grading,increasing the intensity of correction,and increasing the connection with social forces.According to the classification management countermeasures of criminal characteristics in Liaoning Province,it is hoped that it can provide a certain reference value for the research on the classification management of prisoners in Liaoning Province.
