| Capitalism has created unprecedented productivity.In the process of its continuous expansion,it has encountered economic and social crises again and again,but the crisis has been resolved again and again,and there has been development.Harvey believes that the method of capitalist restoration is the strategy of “spatial and temporal restoration”.Local digestion and absorption of excessive capital accumulation does not solve the root problem of capitalism,but also leads to the lack of spatial justice.Space justice is not created out of thin air,but is constantly evolving in history.In the process of research,Harvey adopted the perspective of historical and geographical materialism,and dialectically analyzed the spatial injustice in the context of capitalism.Harvey explores the dimensions of urban space production.He believes that urban space production destroys the spatial structure of the city.This excessive accumulation of capitalism has brought about deeper and deeper urbanization problems and intensified the inherent contradictions of capitalism.In the dimension of natural space production,after in-depth research and analysis of the ecological crisis,ecological Marxists pointed out the deficiencies of the capitalist production method and concluded that in order to promote the growth of capital,the capitalist society is in the process of continuous production of goods.It will inevitably have a stronger demand for natural space.Because of the excessive emphasis on capital growth and the neglect of ecological protection,it will inevitably lead to the serious consequences of ecological crisis.In the dimension of globalized spatial production,with the transfer of capital,the imbalance of geographic development will further intensify.The "temporal restoration" strategy does not solve the crisis of the capitalist mode of production,and will ultimately intensify social contradictions.Harvey put forward corresponding practical ideas from the three dimensions of global,natural and urban space production.In response to the unjust deprivation of urban space production,resulting in the lack of justice,Harvey believes that it is necessary to establish such a city right,that is,if every ordinary citizen has the obligation and responsibility to participate in the construction of the city,then it is also necessary to share the fruits of urban development with the upper-class citizens.It should be their rights.The discourse discussion put forward by the environmental justice movement is completely different from the capitalist discourse on environmental justice in the past.The principle of environmental justice of "the sacredness of Mother Earth",right and wrong,and the righteous moral stand of good and evil are incomparable by any scientific discourse.While challenging the discourse of the dominant position,we should build "ecological socialism" from the perspective of socialism,and analyze the relationship between man and nature and how to restore the harmonious coexistence of the two.Harvey explores the realistic path of space justice in the context of globalization.He conducts practical demonstrations from the perspective of dialectical utopia.While eliminating space oppression,Harvey proposes to overcome the inherent shortcomings of utopian ideas-utopianism.Harvey’s thoughts on space justice have limitations.He wants to overcome the inherent shortcomings of utopia,but his practical conception of dialectical utopia is still utopian,and his understanding of Marx and Engels’ communism is not comprehensive enough,ignoring that communism is scientific socialism.Different from utopian utopia,it is a correct inference that conforms to the development of human society,which leads to a one-sided analysis of its realistic response to communism.However,Harvey’s space justice thought also has a certain degree of theoretical contribution.In a sense,it can also provide a certain reference and reference for the construction of our country.Therefore,it is necessary to look at this issue dialectically,while criticizing it.We should also get rid of its dross and get its essence. |
