The present study analyzed key factors affecting disaster coordination between government and NGOs related to successive relief distribution and rehabilitation(SRDR)activities. This study applied a mixed-method approach. The data collection was performed using purposive sampling with 150 staff of Upazila Parishad and NGOs.The study encircled total ten districts of Bangladesh.SPSS 21 was used to analyze the data. The research findings showed that communication and trust positively affect coordination, and coordination mediates the relationship between resources sharing, communication,Trust, and SRDR activities.Theoretically, the study contributed to the academic arena on transactive memory system theory by investigating the relationship between resource sharing, communication, and trust as antecedents of SRDR activities and the mediating role of coordination in this relationship. The investigation explored a new conceptual framework that positively diminishes the discoordination between government and NGOs.The author interviewed 384 respondents and followed the data analysis spiral technique to manage the qualitative section of the study. The qualitative section of the study explored that communication and trust were strongly associated with coordination, and coordination mediates the relationship between SRDR and communication and trust and resource sharing. Moreover,it inquired into a couple of factors like community participation and information exchange that affect coordination for SRDR.Finally, the qualitative approach recommended that government and NGOs establish a joint fund and network comprising all stakeholders to minimize disaster-stricken people’s sufferings.
