The Theory And Practice Of CPC’s Party-Based Diplomacy In The New Era

The party-based diplomacy of the CPC began from 1949,and ushered in a major transformation after the reform and opening up.After the new century,it developed rapidly,showing a new pattern of all-round and multi-faceted.Since the new era,Xi has made significant instructions to the party-based diplomacy on the basis of inheriting the diplomatic thoughts of the previous generation leaders,and promoted the establishment of a new inter-party relationship based on seeking common ground while reserving differences,respecting each other and learning from each other.In theory,China has developed and enriched Marx’s inter-party relationship theory,so that the party-based diplomacy of the CPC has been fully developed.Guided by the new theory of inter-party relations,the party-based diplomacy of the CPC has accumulated rich practical experience in the new era,further improved the institutional exchange among political parties,and innovated the "cloud diplomacy","letter diplomacy" to characterize the party-based diplomacy of new feature.It has opened up a new situation of the party-based diplomacy of the CPC.Nowadays,under the new situation,the development of party-based diplomacy has both opportunities and challenges.Under the background of COVID-19,there are many unstable factors in party politics,global governance and world socialist development.On the other hand,the accelerated transformation of the world order also provides new opportunities for CPC to play a role in the overall diplomacy of the party.Therefore,the party-based diplomacy of the CPC is expected to innovate in terms of diplomatic issues,cooperation objects,theoretical and academic means,so as to develop the party-based diplomacy of the CPC in a more pragmatic,more active and pluralistic direction,and make the promotion to a new level.
