| More and more police-related incidents are spread,amplified,and promoted through social media,making it increasingly difficult for organizations to respond tocrises.Situational crisis communication theory emphasizes that organizational managers should choose different crisis response strategies according to different crisis situations.This article is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction part,which mainly focuses on the four aspects of thesis writing background,literature review,research questions and research methods,research innovation.The second part mainly discusses the public’s situational perception and responsibility attribution of crisis events.The third part discusses which crisis management strategies the organization managers use in the face of specific crisis situations.The fourth part examines the effectiveness of organizational crisis response strategies from the perspective of media effectiveness.The last part mainly summarizes the conclusions,deficiencies and recommendations of this study.In the crisis situation analysis of the five cases,it is found that the crisis situations faced by the public security organizations are more complicated,there is more than one crisis situation,so in the choice of crisis response strategies,multiple crisis response strategies should be used in combination.Among the five crisis events,preventable crises accounted for three,and the precautionary crisis response strategy was the main strategy response."Fuzhou Public Security" faced the crisis situation twice in the whole incident,namely intentional crisis situation and preventable crisis situation.The crisis situation faced by the "police and civilian through train-Pudong" in the whole incident is the same as the crisis situation of"Fuzhou Public Security.The crisis situation faced by the "Beijing Border Inspection" is the victim’s crisis situation,and the crisis situation faced by the "Maanshan Huashan Branch" is the same as the "Beijing Border Inspection"."Dalian Public Security" has two crisis situations,an accident-type crisis situation and a p In the analysis of crisis perception and responsibility attribution,it is found that the five cases of crisis are perceived by netizens and responsiblereventable crisis situation.The netizens’ perception of crisis in various incidents found that netizens always believed in the voice of the first party during the crisis incubation period or outbreak period.This congenital belief has caused organizations to fall into a passive link in crisis response.Netizens found that in the crisis attribution of various incidents,duringthe incubation period or outbreak period of the crisis,regardless of whether it is the cause of the public security organ,the netizen will preemptively attribute the incident to the public security organ.In the five selected cases,the main body of each organization used the coping strategy,the denial strategy and the weakening strategy were the most frequently used,and the reconstruction strategy was rarely used.However,Combs suggests that crisis managers should not only provide instructional information in the first place,but also use reconstruction strategies as much as possible.Reconstruction strategies are the most effective choice in the crisis communication process. |
