Analysis On Political Ritual Of National Day Parade Since The Foundation Of The PRC

China has held 15 National Day Parades since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.As a political ceremony to commemorate the founding of the republic,National Day Parade not only contains unique connotation,but also carries rich value.Throughout the republic’s parade history,it can be roughly divided into three historical periods: the period of establishment and consolidation of the regime,the new period of reform and opening up,and the new era of reform and opening up.In different historical periods,National Day Parade is one of the most important platforms for the construction of legitimacy belief.It carries the fundamental demand of promoting power and maintaining rule.Therefore,it is necessary to theoretically explain and systematically analyze the origin,components,process and political significance of National Day Parade.In the context of grasping the process of the parade,this paper makes an in-depth analysis of the identity changes of the characters in the whole process of the National Day Parade,in an attempt to provide an appropriate research object for the study of the political ceremony.This paper consists of six parts.The first part is the introduction,which explains the research background and significance of this paper,and sorts out the domestic and foreign literature on political ceremony and National Day Parade.The second part is the basic theoretical analysis of the National Day Parade political ceremony since the founding of the People’s Republic of China.On the basis of defining the political ceremony,legitimacy and other concepts as well as the ceremony,symbolic interaction and other theories,the paper briefly analyzes the types and functions of the political ceremony.The third part discusses the contents related to political ceremony and National Day Parade.It mainly introduces the National Day Parade and the function of National Day Parade from the perspective of political ceremony.It also analyzes the status of National Day Parade,the relationship between political ceremony and National Day Parade,and the political function of National Day Parade.The fourth part is the ceremony mobilization.It makes a systematic analysis of National Day Parade’s element combination and preparation for the exercise.It expounds the main components of National Day Parade and how to conduct public opinion propaganda and training rehearsal before the National Day Parade,and outlines the landscape before the National Day Parade.The fifth part is the ceremony process.It deeply explores the ceremony performance and the spread of ideology in the National Day Parade.The National Day Parade,as an important platform for ideological communication,exerts important influence on the memory of those who read it,as well as the presentation of national image and firm political belief.The sixth part is the diffusion of the ceremony,which shows in detail the far-reachinginfluence after the National Day Parade.The curtain of the National Day Parade comes to an end,which provides an in-depth explanation of the cohesion process of the community and the construction of legitimacy belief,which plays a key role in consolidating the regime.
