Research On Social Work Intervention In Community Integration Of The Mentally Disabled

People with mental retardation have always been an important part of vulnerable groups in China,and the number base is also large.People with mental retardation are faced with many problems,such as cognition,behavior,learning,life,social adaptation,etc.because of the limitations of their current situation.When people with mental retardation have solved their basic problems of food and clothing,we should pay more attention to their quality of life.In the community of people with mental retardation,we should pay more attention to their quality of life In the problem of district integration,the mentally handicapped and their families are faced with the education,nursing,self-expression and communication ability,and finally achieve the effect of being accepted by the residents.This study analyzes the main causes of the difficulty of the integration of the mentally handicapped and the community from the perspective of ecosystem theory and social support theory,in order to find effective ways to improve this problem.This paper chooses the mentally disabled people in L community of Lianhu District of Xi’an city as the research object,and uses professional social work methods to intervene.In the early stage,through collecting and studying relevant data from the mentally disabled,their families and the residents and community workers in their communities,and combining with the ecosystem theory and social support theory,we get the factors that make it difficult for the mentally disabled to integrate into the community,specifically including: self level of the mentally disabled: lack of innate ability,lack of professional family education,weak communication and communication ability;At the family level of the mentally handicapped,there is a lack of parent-child interaction,a lack of professional methods to guide the learning of the mentally handicapped,and a lack of community neighborhood support;at the community level,there are misunderstanding,misunderstanding and exclusion of the mentally handicapped by the community residents.After learning about the community integration problems and needs of the mentally handicapped,the author focuses on improving the self-care ability,interpersonal communication ability,community support for the mentally handicapped and their families,improving the prejudice of the community residents tothe mentally handicapped,accepting and supporting the mentally handicapped and their families,integrating the three levels of services,and committed to improving the mentally handicapped Integration of disabled communities.According to personal practice,combined with ecosystem theory and social support theory,it has certain advantages in the community integration project activities for the mentally retarded and guides the implementation of practical operation.In addition,through the implementation of this project activity,community L,families of people with mental retardation and community l have a deep understanding of each other,so as to make necessary preparations for better community integration of people with mental retardation,so as to effectively improve the community integration ability of people with mental retardation in community L,promote the harmonious living environment of the community,and improve the reality of community integration of people with mental retardation by using social work methods Practical activities provide reference value for research methods and techniques.
