A Study On The Psychological Evaluation Of The Criminals In X Prison Of Yunnan Province

Prison,as the penalty executing organ of the state,is an important part of the state machine,which is essentially determined by the nature of the class and the state.As a socialist country under the people’s democratic dictatorship,the basic function of prisons in China is to punish crimes and reform criminals.The unity of human body and mind determines that the educational reform of criminals must start from both physical and psychological aspects.Scientific and standard psychological evaluation work is not only the premise and foundation of reforming criminals,but also the verifier of reforming criminals.However,in practice,the criminal psychological evaluation work is not very perfect.In order to solve this problem,this paper takes X prison in Yunnan province as an example to analyze the problems and causes existing in the psychological evaluation of prisoners through empirical investigation and research,and draws on the advanced experience of other provinces and cities in China and foreign developed countries to put forward countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing the work.It is hoped that this will arouse more people’s attention and research,promote the development of reforming criminals by optimizing psychological evaluation work,promote the re-socialization process of prisoners in prisons,reduce illegal crimes,and play a positive role in the process of rule by law in China.
