TV commercials are a common form of communication in modern life,and they have a strong ability to persuade and propagate in the presidential campaign.In Ukraine,TV commercials are an important means of communication for election campaigns.During the election process,candidates for presidential elections attach great importance to image and personalization.The application of TV advertisements to media positioning makes the development of election strategies and the conduct of election activities more professional.From the perspective of advertising,television is the main source of election information and an important channel for candidates to spread their opinions and communicate directly with voters.Especially in large-scale elections,there is insufficient personal contact between voters and candidates.The best option is to convince voters to vote for the relevant candidates through TV commercials.In this paper,through questionnaire survey and SPSS software analysis,we studied whethe r the audience’s gender,age,religious belief,and educational level have a significant impact on their voting behavior,and studied what attitudes and emotions the audience has for each candidate.Through the research in this article,we can understand t hat the basic characteristics of the audience of the Ukrainian presidential election television advertisement in 2019 have an impact on the effectiveness of the advertisement,the characteristics of the advertisement content have a significant influence on the effectiveness of the advertisement,and the characteristics of the candidate are positively related to the voting behavior of the audience.Elections are an integral part of the political process of modern democratic society.This provides an opportunity for those who participate in politics to become members of Congress,the governor and even the president of a country.At the same time,during the elections,ordinary citizens also participated in active political life,and they began to feel their importance and ability to influence the personnel of the highest state institutions.Campaign advertisements formed the political party’s thinking,which was the attitude of voters and an important supplement to all other campaigns.
