| China has been making an important contribution for revamping and providing Africa with the much needed hard infrastructure which is considered as a catalyst for increasing production capacity and removing the bottlenecks that are locking the economic opportunities in the continent through a very unique and innovative model of financing “Resource for infrastructure.” Recently,the Chinese infrastructure financing model is frequently used in different countries in Africa particularity in sub-Saharan region.The model has achieved a varying degree of success through-out the sub-Saharan region,rising questions on the factors major intervening in implementation RFI projects in SSA.This research conducts a comparative analysis study of four projects cases study in four countries from SSA where FRI was implemented namely: Angola,Congo,Sudan,and Gabon.We find that,there are 10 critical success factor vital in the implementation of the Chinese Resource-Financed Infrastructure,and we classified them in this study into macro-level factor and micro-level factors. |
