A Study On The Acquisition Of The Chinese Adverb "Jiu" By Native English Speakers

The author of the paper on the basis of existing research results,with interlanguage errors analysis theory as the foundation,using the method of synchronic study,choosing the HSK dynamic composition corpus,interlanguage corpus of Jinan university,and the global Chinese interlanguage corpus of English language learners’ written composition in the elementary,intermediate and advanced Chinese proficiency as the research object,we analyze their use of the different semantic functions of the adverb "jiu" at three levels of Chinese proficiency. First,on the basis of the standard of accuracy and frequency of use,combined with the stability of its use in different stages of Chinese,this paper explores the acquisition order of the adverbial word "jiu" by English language learners;The acquisition order is compared with the existing research results,and some results are obtained.Then,using error analysis as our learning tool,we conduct a study on the acquisition sequence process of the adverb "jiu" by native speakers.Finally,on the basis of English acquisition and acquisition in the previous article,international native language learners put forward some suggestions on Chinese teaching when they acquired the problems in the process of acquiring the adverb "jiu".Here are some key insights from performance research papers:1.In this paper,based on the ranking of the accuracy rate and frequency of use,combined with the comparison of the frequency of use with native Chinese speakers and the stability of their acquisition at different levels of Chinese proficiency,it is comprehensively considered that English native speakers learn the The acquisition order of the adverb "jiu" is: association > time > quantity > range > tone.2.Through the study of acquisition order,we get the guidance that the acquisition order obtained by different research methods and research objects generally conforms to the order from concrete meaning to abstract meaning;basic meaning or core meaning precedes derived meaning and acquisition;the grammaticalization process of the adverb "jiu" is roughly the same as the acquired order.This also verifies once again that it is a feasible research idea to infer the actual acquisition order of learners through the process of grammaticalization.3.From the perspective of error,analyze the acquisition process of the adverb "Jiu" by native English speakers.Generally speaking,the acquisition of the adverb "Jiu" has gone through the main stage of quantitative function deviation to the various stages.The fluctuation of the descriptive function error rate is inversely proportional to the fluctuation of the frequency of use,and then to the stage of the overall decline of the acquired error and the better acquisition effect.4.Specifically,we also tried to deeply analyze the developmental characteristics of the acquisition of the semantic functions of the adverb "jiu" by native English language learners,so as to obtain the specific acquisition process of the semantic functions.We conclude that the association function of "Jiu" has experienced the main stage of misrepresentation of the collocational construction of correlative adverbs,the continuous rise of missubstitution error,the clearing of missubstitution error,the sudden drop of missubstitution error,and the omission error.Three stages of surge.The watch-time function "Jiu" has gone through three stages of "Jiu" : the post-component disorder,improper collocation,the main stage,and the post-component disorder still rising.The function " Jiu " of the tone of expression has gone through three stages: missubstitution as the main stage,improper collocation as the main stage,and the wrong order as the main stage.The function "Jiu" of the scope of the table has gone through three stages: the main stage of mis-adding,the stage of mis-substitution as the main stage,and the rise of errors and still the main stage of mis-substitution.The acquisition of the quantity function of "Jiu" has gone through three stages: the main stage of mistake addition,the main stage of wrong order and the main stage of wrong addition.
