Negative sentences are a difficult point in teaching Chinese as a foreign language, and a lot of books and literature also focus on negative sentences, and "no" is the word with the highest frequency and error rate among negative words. If you master the use and distribution rules of the negative adverb "no",you will be able to grasp Chinese negative sentences as a whole, and help you master other negative words. With the steady development of Sino-Indian relations, more and more Indonesian people are learning Chinese, but Chinese and Indonesian belong to two language families and their grammars are very different from each other,so it is difficult to master Chinese well. Therefore, this paper analyzes the negation of the adverb "no" among Indonesian Chinese learners, which can provide us with a comprehensive understanding of the characteristics and causes of the negation of "no" among Indonesian Chinese learners. This thesis investigates the biases of the negative adverb "no" in the HSK dynamic composition corpus, the Jinan University mediated corpus, and the global mediated corpus, and classifies the biases precisely on the basis of the existing research.First, the reasons and significance of the topic are explained, the findings and results of the research on the negative adverb "no" are summarized, and the research methods and corpus sources are explained. The review summarizes the findings from two perspectives: the ontology of "no" and the bias of "no" in Chinese as a foreign language. In this paper,we focus on the classification, statistics and analysis of Indonesian Chinese learners’ "no" biases, mainly at two levels. It is further divided into four major categories: misplaced substitution, misadded, omission, and misordering. In this way,we can clearly categorize and precisely analyze the error situation of "no".The next section examines the causes of the errors from interlingual, intralingual and other perspectives, and the influence of the negative adverb "no" on Indonesian Chinese learners comes from many sources. In this section, the Chinese negation adverb "no" is compared with the Indonesian negation "tidak",including the native interference caused by the scope of application and position in the sentence. At the same time, the generalization and simplification of students’ knowledge of the target language caused by confusion and neglect of usage restrictions are analyzed. Finally, the findings of this paper are discussed in terms of teachers’ teaching, textbook layout and teaching resources, and students’ learning strategies to improve Indonesian Chinese learners’ ability to use the negative adverb "no" correctly and to reduce the occurrence of its bias in writing and daily expressions.
