Indonesian Chinese Learners Learn Of "ba" Bias Study

The word "把(ba)" is commonly used in modern Chinese language, it has been turned into a key point yet a difficult thing for Indonesian students in studying Chinese language. Therefore, various types of error are often encountered while communicating using the word "把(ba)".In order to increase teaching quality and to improve teaching effectiveness of Chinese as the second language, writer did some research towards types of error that frequently happened from Indonesian students while using "把(ba)". The thesis uses comparison analysis, questionnaires; through this questionnaires and school assignment, sample types of error of using "把(ba)" from Indonesian students are collected. From main body research and teaching perspective of Chinese language, writer uses comparison and error analysis theory as statistical data for further analysis so that a comprehensive summary of types of error and their reasons can be produced, thus errors while using "把(ba)" could be minimized, moreover few suggestions from writer are developed to help the students in learning this particular word thoroughly.The thesis is divided into five chapters. The first chapter introduces the research motivation, methods, objectives and its meaning; making comparison of the characteristics and usage of "把(ba)" from Chinese and Indonesian Language. The second chapter describes about situation and statistics of Indonesian students while using "把(ba)) ", objectives of survey, significance of survey, respondents, survey content and survey types and practices. The third chapter outlines the comparison analysis and the reasons behind errors made by Indonesian students in using "把(ba)" The fourth chapter discusses about teaching method suggestions towards Indonesian students in using "把(ba)". The fifth chapter summarizes the result from this research.
