Study On The Musical Characteristics And Performance Of Shi Fu’s Piano Work "The First Xinjiang Suite"

In the history of modern Chinese music,there is a very famous composer named Shi Fu.His works involve many genres,among which the majority are works with Xinjiang characteristics.He combined western traditional composition techniques with Chinese folk music style,created music works with Xinjiang local style,and added a heavy touch to the creation of Chinese folk music piano works.The First Xinjiang Suite is one of the most outstanding piano works of Shi Fu,which provides excellent material for the study of Xinjiang minority music style piano music with strong ethnic music characteristics and artistic interest.In this paper,Shi Fu and the First Xinjiang Suite are briefly introduced to understand the composer’s life experience and the creation background of the work.Secondly,it studies the music noumenon such as harmony,tonality and form.Thirdly,the Tajik music style and Uygur music style included in the work are analyzed from the aspects of melody,rhythm,rhythm and harmony texture.Finally,with the author’s own performance process,focusing on the touch keys,pedal and other aspects of the analysis of performance.Through the above research and specific analysis,it is hoped that we can have a deep understanding and understanding of the characteristics and styles of Xinjiang’s local music,better grasp of the style and playing skills of the works,and provide reference for future study and performance of piano players.
