The Study Of Shifu Piano Works "The Third Xinjiang Suite"

Xinjiang music is the most famous branch of Uygur folk music.It has beautiful melody,lively and bright rhythm,regular and symmetrical structure,warm and cheerful mood.The research object,Shi Fu’s Third Xinjiang Suite,was created for children.It contains three piano works,“fabric dance music”,“small band” and “the happy scene”.This paper is mainly divided into three chapters,starting from the composer’s life introduction and the creation background of the works,and the music ontology and performance skills of the works are discussed in detail.In these three music works,Xinjiang folk music material is used in a very ingenious and natural way.Mr.Sang Tong commented,"his piano music is full of rich national flavor,full of beautiful western customs.”The melody and rhythm of the work has strong Xinjiang characteristics.Through the research,the players can interpret this work better,and make a modest contribution to popularizing and promoting music of Xinjiang style.The first chapter is discussed from two aspects.The first aspect is the introduction of the composer’s life.The second aspect introduces the creation background of this suite.The second chapter mainly analyzes the music ontology of Shi Fu’s Third Xinjiang Suite from three aspects: music theme characteristics,tonal and harmonic characteristics,and musical structure.The third chapter is the main body of the thesis.In this chapter,the touch of keys,strength,grace note playing,pedals and other playing skills are studied and analyzedwith corresponding examples for convenient and intuitive understanding.
