The New Yangko Movement As Publicity And The Publicity In The New Yangko Movement

During the Anti-Japanese War,it became the trend of the times to mobilize the whole people to save the nation with drama and literature.However,the intellectuals in Yan’an were unable to undertake the arduous mission entrusted by the times because of their confusion in direction and ideology.The leaders of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China pointed out the way out for China’s literature and art cause during the revolutionary period by holding the Yan’an Literature and Art Symposium in time.Under the guidance of the party’s new literary and artistic thought,literary and artistic workers have deeply explored national forms and folk literature and art.As a folk ceremony of worship and blessing and a public social activity,Yangko has been transformed into a "new Yangko opera" similar in form to the traditional Yangko,but completely different in essence and core,and set off a vigorous new Yangko movement in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.The article holds that the "newness" of the new Yangko lies in the transformation from pure entertainment literature and art to propaganda means by adjusting the proportion of "song and dance".The new yangko dance after the transformation is close to the reality of the border region,and has undertaken the functions of publicity,education and social mobilization,such as preparing for famine,supporting the government and the army,resisting Japan and saving the country,changing customs and habits,and transforming loafers.The new Yangko is not so much literature and art as a typical propaganda.Adhere to the publicity strategy of being close to the daily life and the masses,implement the publicity means of "reference and transformation",and the mature operation mode of collective creation and systematic promotion,and finally make watching Yangko and making Yangko popular in the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region.The article holds that the reinterpretation and investigation of the new Yangko movement from the perspective of the propaganda practice of the Communist Party of China is a direct discussion on its essence.The theory of Marxist ideology and Cultural Leadership provides a theoretical basis for the CPC’s literary and artistic propaganda practice;The ideological and social foundation of the new Yangko movement was formed by the great meeting between the intellectuals’ thought of "going to the people" and the thinking of Mao Zedong,the leader of the Communist Party of China,on the proposition of "Sinicization";The Communist Party of China has provided a continuous accumulation of experience through its own practice and exploration of literary and artistic publicity.From this perspective,the new Yangko movement is both an artistic accident and a historical necessity.
