The art of choral singing is a polyphonic form of musical expression, which has long been loved by people for its harmonious unity of sound and infectious artistic characteristics. To achieve the unity and harmony of choral sound,on the one hand, the daily training of the choir should be used to strengthen the sound adhesion within each voice part and the mutual integration between the voices,on the other hand, the perception and deployment of the conductor should be used to control the coordination of each voice part during the rehearsal of choral works. In choral rehearsal, how to better express the style of choral works, how to restore the musical essence of choral works, how to enrich the aural level of works, how to improve the participation of choir members to enhance the rehearsal efficiency, etc.are all practical problems that the choral conductor must face when performing rehearsal work.In the new era,the diversified musical ecology has broadened the soil and brought new challenges for the development of choral art,and the diverse musical elements and aesthetic tendency of the total beauty nowadays have promoted the continuous development of choral singing in a more diversified direction. The training of the bass voice has always been the top priority of choral sound balance and timbre training. In today’s fast-changing world, the types and styles of choral works are constantly enriched with the development of the times, but the important position of the bass voice in the complete expression of choral music remains unchanged. To clarify the functional role of the bass voice in choral music and the different methods of bass voice training for different works and different functions is one of the effective ways to solve the problem of choral vocal balance and timbre integration. This thesis takes the functional role of bass voice in chorus as the starting point, clarifies the different training focus of choral and solo bass voice, and integrates the training focus and difficulties of bass voice in choral rehearsal with the three training indexes of choral bass voice pitch, rhythm and timbre based on the concept of harmonious and unified choral sound, and innovatively proposes the "U-RIT" training method for choral bass voice in choral rehearsal, which provides a program with compatible operation and expandability for bass voice training in choral rehearsal. This thesis is divided into five parts. In the first part,an overview of the bass voice in chorus is given, the concept of the bass voice in chorus and the range of voice division proposed in this thesis are defined, and the characteristics of the bass voice in chorus are briefly explained from the development process and the current situation of the bass voice in chorus;the second part takes the different representations of the bass voice in chorus and solo singing as the starting point, and compares and analyzes the common and individual characteristics of the bass voice between the two.In the third part,we analyze the function of bass voice in chorus from three aspects: the auxiliary, harmonic and stylized roles of bass voice in chorus;in the fourth part,we analyze the problems of bass voice in chorus rehearsal. In the fourth part, the innovative "U-RIT" training method for the bass voice in chorus is proposed, and the targeted solution for the bass voice training in chorus is discussed;in the fifth chapter, the author takes the actual chorus rehearsal(bass voice training)in which he participated as an example, and the standard of the "U-RIT" training method in practice is explained. In the fifth chapter, the author discusses the effectiveness and feasibility of the "U-RIT" training method based on the description of the case and the application of the "U-RIT" training method in practice.
